Medicines

  • Take only as much medicine as you are instructed.

  • Take pain medicine at regular times as directed. Don’t wait until the pain gets bad to take the medicine.

  • Pain medicines can upset your stomach. Taking them with a little food may help.

  • Pain medicines can make you sleepy or dizzy.

  • If you are given antibiotics, take the medicine until all the pills are gone.
