Incision and Dressing Care

  • You will leave the surgery center with a bandage over your incision.

  • You will be given instructions on how to care for the area.

  • It is normal for the incision to be slightly red and swollen the day after surgery. Some oozing and discharge from the incisions is also normal.

  • You may also have a slight fever the day following surgery.
